Mark Funkhouser spoke at the West Virginia Municipal League’s 2023 Annual Conference about “Governing in an Age of Conflict.” Offering perspectives on navigating the volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity localities are facing, he shared guiding principles and practical steps for how local government leaders can help their communities work together toward shared goals and better outcomes.
