Founded by Mark Funkhouser in 2009, the International Center for Performance Auditing (ICPA) is a nonprofit dedicated to strengthening and legitimizing performance auditing as a global profession. Through webinars, training, and advisory support, ICPA connects public sector auditors worldwide and promotes innovation, impact, and peer learning. Its flagship initiative—a first-of-its-kind global certification for government performance auditors—is currently in development.
